My Story....

Hi, my name is Tehmina. I’ve been healing (for want of a better word) since I was 14. I don’t know how it works except that I can get rid of pain, headaches, backache, neckache, shoulder pain, etc. I didn’t actually know for 12 years that I was doing it!!

It all started when my cousin Soli came for dinner one night. He said he had a bad headache and his shoulders ached and he wanted a massage. So there I am saying “I’ll give you a massage!” After dinner, I pressed his shoulders, massaged his head and 20 minutes later, his headache and shoulders were better! He said he felt “Great!” and I said “That was great!”, I was off to watch TV. I had no idea what I had done, I just thought he was being “nice” to his little cousin… Little did I know!!

For the next 12 years, I massaged my bosses (I was a self-employed bookkeeper), co-workers, friends, friends of friends and they all felt better afterwards, their pain was gone!! I still thought they were being “nice”, lol.

Meanwhile, I had back pain of my own… I found out I have broken vertebrae in my lower spine and the pain was unbearable, so I was sent to see an Osteopath. This is where it gets interesting…. I went for my appointment and when I got out of there, I was in more pain than when I went in! I just couldn’t understand how when I gave someone a massage they felt so happy and relaxed and the pain was gone, yet when I had my massage, I was in more pain..? At the time, I had a friend of a friend staying with me from India (who turned out to be a massive turning point in my life). As soon as I got out of the appointment, I rang him to tell him what had happened and that I could barely move. I asked him why this was happening, he told me that I was healing people and unfortunately for me, my Osteopath was not a healer, just an Osteopath. I had no idea what he was talking about! He explained that I had healing “energy” so when I massaged someone, I was inadvertently healing them too which is why everyone felt so good after. There was me thinking they were being “nice” but actually they were telling the truth! So, I started to explore and experiment to learn more about how it worked. My friend explained so much of it to me.

He told me… That I had to protect myself so that I didn’t absorb other peoples’ problems. This explained why I kept getting the same problem as the person I massaged, within 3 days. I was absorbing their energy instead of letting it go. He told me that I was psychic, as that is the same energy that a healer uses. He told me that all healers are psychic, as you need a lot more of that “energy” in order to be able to heal, but all psychics are not healers. This explained so much… the premonitions I had as a kid/teenager about people dying. It only seemed to happen with people I knew… I’d be around them and feel so cold, even when I was standing in the sun. Within 3 days (again), they’d be gone. I had no idea what I was supposed to do with the information, tell them, stop it, make them spend quality time with family..? The list was endless in my head and it really messed me up for the longest time. I also spoke to my Grandma just as she passed on; she came to me to tell me she had to go now. He also told me that as a healer, other healers/psychics would see my energy coming and some may want to tap into it to use it for themselves. This explained why I would feel soooo tired round certain people. He showed me how to protect myself so that they couldn’t “borrow” my energy.

My friend was here for 3 months but it felt like 3 years. I found out that he was psychic too and that he knew he was going to see me before he got to England (he’d had a reading of his own!) so he knew that he was coming here to meet me, teach me and learn at the same time. He is one of my soulmates on this earth and I will never forget what he did for me… we agreed not to speak anymore, although; I know he’s there and he knows I am too.

Which brings me on to my Crystals… I had a reading when my son Zac was 3 months old. It was a random site and the girl I wanted wasn’t available. The receptionist asked me if I wanted someone else and read me out a load of names… “Angel” stood out! She gave me loads of correct information about my situation and then told me that I was a Crystal Healer! Lol. Me, crystal healing! I had no idea what she was talking about. So I bought a book that came with 12 little crystals, read it cover to cover and thought, yeah right, like a crystal can heal someone! I chucked it in the bookcase and didn’t look at it again. It took me 7 years to realise I was wrong, the crystals were right, (and so was Angel!) A series of events lead me to buying a Labradorite, then an Amethyst bed, then a Fluorite and then I had to have one of everything in the Crystal Bible! Lol. Whilst I was buying up the crystal bible, one of the sellers I bought off on Ebay, asked if I wanted to buy her stock because she wanted to change direction slightly and sell crystal beads to make jewellery. I said Yes, before I knew what I was saying. So here I was sitting with a whole lot of stock, all stuck in my little bedroom and going slightly crazy from all the “Crystal Energy”.

Meanwhile, I used to take Zac to the Special Yoga Centre in Kensal Rise, London NW10 3HA. Zac has ADHD and ASD and the only reason I don’t go now is because I’ve moved quite far away. They are the only yoga centre in the country that provides a special program of yoga for Special Needs kids and adults. They are also the ones who train teachers all over the country, to provide yoga for Special Needs kids in schools. They were looking for ways to raise money for the charity and decided to have Pamper Nights. I had told them about my crystal obsession, lol, so they asked if I wanted to have a stall and sell them. I had a little mad panic about prices and how to setup my stall (I had never had a stall in my life!) and off I went, to Pamper Night. I don’t know what hit me more, the fact that people wanted to buy them or that I had far more knowledge about them and life, than I ever gave myself credit for, and so, Crystals and Healing was born… I never intended to do crystal readings either, it all just happened by itself and it really works! Feel free to read the testimonials page. They are all REAL people that I’ve seen over the years. I’m sure they won’t mind if you want clarification from them.

I’ve come to realize that everything happens for a reason, whether you think it’s a good thing, or a bad thing. They are ALL GOOD things because they teach us what we need to learn and we never stop learning! The universe knows when we are doing something that is not going to help us in the long run. If we don’t listen to the messages, the universe will do something to make us listen, so we have to hear, lol.

I have been a self-employed bookkeeper since I was 22 (whilst also living an intuitive life). I have tried to find a logical reason as to how healing, crystals, astrology and numerology work. I officially gave up about 2 years ago. I decided that I don’t need to know how; I just need to trust the universe and myself and do what I was born to do… Guide people to see their potential, their good points, what they are born to do, to value themselves and not be so hard on themselves.
